The Sunshine Coast is a beautiful ocean community that feels like an island. You can't drive from Vancouver instead you must take the BC Ferry from Horseshoe Bay or fly in. The Sunshine Coast is known for beautiful rocky Pacific Northwest beaches, local artisans, and restaurants featuring seafood and local produce.
Located on a private 2.5-acre property with breath-taking views of Frolander Bay. After a day at the beach, you can walk back to this modern tiny house and enjoy the private outdoor hot tub, patio with propane BBQ, and wood fire pit. If the weather outside is less than hospitable there is a fully equipped kitchen stocked with local farm fresh eggs. Plus an indoor fireplace, to keep you warm and cozy while watching movies, or play board games. The tiny house can sleep up to 3 guests with a queen-size bed upstairs in the loft and a pull-out couch in the living space.
The Roberts Creek Tiny House is a short drive (or even bus ride) from the Gibsons ferry terminal and the Georgia Straights coastal beach. The kitchen is somewhat limited, so it might be a good idea to try some of the amazing local restaurants. There is a full washroom with a beautiful glass shower, but the water flows directly to the ground so please use chemical-free shampoos and soaps. In addition there is an odor-free composting toilet. Spending a weekend at this tiny house is a great way to baby step into off-grid living, while still have full access to running water and grid electricity.
