The Lifty Life Story

From Airbnb hosts to full-service vacation rental managers.

Born In Whistler.

Our first property was a fixer-upper apartment in Whistler. It was rough around the edges, but we saw the potential. We renovated the space, learned the business from the ground up, and hosted our first guests ourselves. We handled the listing, the cleaning, the messaging, the pricing, the guest questions, and the little details that make or break a stay.

What “Lifty Life” Means

The name “Lifty Life” was originally inspired by the carefree mountain lifestyle of ski lift operators, the people who live close to adventure, community, and the outdoors.

Over time, the meaning grew. For us, Lifty Life now represents the feeling people seek when they travel: fresh air, new places, great stays, and time well spent with the people they care about.

Whether it is mountain life, lake life, coastal life, or a quiet weekend away, our goal is to help guests experience the best of Canada while helping homeowners share their properties with confidence.

From our Whistler beginnings, Lifty Life has grown into a vacation rental management company serving many of Western Canada’s top travel destinations.

We now support homeowners and guests across markets including Whistler, Canmore, Ucluelet, Harrison, Kelowna, Big White, Invermere, Sunshine Valley, Cultus Lake, and more.

Our team brings together experience in hospitality, marketing, revenue management, guest service, property operations, accounting, and local destination support. The result is a management approach that is professional, transparent, and built for real-world vacation rental operations.

We quickly noticed something remarkable.

As Lifty Life grew, we noticed something important: guests were not only booking properties, they were booking a lifestyle.

Some came for ski weekends in the mountains. Others came for lake days, surf trips, hot springs, hiking trails, family time, or quiet retreats by the water.

That became a big part of our brand. Lifty Life is not just about where you sleep. It is about helping people experience the best parts of Western Canada, one destination at a time.

CEO

Connor leads the overall direction of Lifty Life, with a focus on growth, operations, and owner relationships. His background as a hands-on host gives him a practical understanding of what it takes to manage vacation rentals well.

Outside of work, Connor is happiest exploring the outdoors and finding the kinds of places that make Western Canada such a special destination.

Keiran leads Lifty Life’s marketing, brand, and guest acquisition strategy. His work helps connect the right guests with the right properties across Lifty Life’s destinations.

With a love for travel, storytelling, and adventure, Keiran helps shape the guest-facing side of the Lifty Life brand while supporting homeowners with stronger listing visibility and market positioning.

With a passion for adventure and travel, Ashley believes that exploring the world is one of the greatest teachers we can have in life. She has hiked an active volcano in Bali, climbed up the middle of a waterfall in Thailand, and toured the hauntingly beautiful ruins of Chornobyl in Ukraine.
