Everything You Need to Know About

Sasquatch Mountain Resort

Formerly known as Hemlock Valley Resort, Sasquatch Resort offers an affordable, easy-to-get-to, relaxing mountain escape perfect for family getaways. Nestled in a natural snow bowl tucked away above Harrison Lake, the beautiful landscape is perfect for snow-sports, hiking and ATVing all day long. Off the mountain, the down-home, friendly, welcoming atmosphere will make you feel as if you’re amongst extended family.

After a long day exploring the mountain guests come back to one of our short term rental and vacation accommodation properties to crack open a beer and watch the stars above. Just like home, only better.

Winter sports all season at a fraction of the cost of competitor mountains.

Sasquatch Resort and the surrounding areas offer the ultimate in chilled-out family fun. The family that plays together stays together!

Chilled Winter Activities: If you like skiing and snowboarding but you don’t like long lift queues, Sasquatch Resort is just the place for you! 36 runs over 83 hectares of rideable terrain mean there is something here for every level of snowsports. Snowmobiling and RZR tours offer an extra injection of adrenaline for adventure-seekers.

Summer Fun at Sasquatch: Summer activities at Sasquatch include ATVing, jet skiing, fishing, kayaking, Motocross trail riding, paddleboarding and more.

Nearby Agassiz: Sasquatch Resort is close to Agassiz in the family friendly Kent district. Also known as ‘farm country’, there are markets and farm tours aplenty, as well as the 100-year-old annual Agassiz Fall Fair and Corn Festival held every September. The area’s many lakes and rivers offer swimming, fishing, boating, and sandy beaches, while for the more adventurous, the area has two world-class hang gliding jump-off points.

Events & Festivals

You don’t have to venture far for great post-snow comfort food. Molly Hogan’s Pub and Sasquatch Mountain Cafeteria right on the resort have great options, or you can venture into Agassiz for the very best in farm fresh ingredients.

Eat & Drink

Sasquatch offers four seasons of family fun.

Sasquatch Resort, which is located in traditional Sts’ailes territory, is in full-fledged Pygmalion mode. Plans to transform this (fledgling) ski area into a major, all-season world class destination resort are underway, offering visitors all-season access to another superb BC playground. The transformation will include important cultural collaboration with the Sts’ailes First Nation on an Indigenous-themed village, called Quqwathem Village.
