Our calming Sunset Room includes a covered patio with a view of the water, an electric fireplace, a queen-size bed and a sunny ensuite bathroom with a bathtub and private entrance. From the Sunset Suite and its adjoining balcony, you are able to enjoy a stunning view of each sunset and the ever-changing waters of the Pacific Ocean.
Our cozy Sunrise Room overlooking Little Beach, with covered patio, electric fireplace, a queen-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub and private entrance. The Sunshine Suite, with its extra elevation, allows views of both the sunset and the private beach, giving you a romantic retreat of your own

Hertel House
Wildlife, including black bears and bald eagles, is frequently spotted along with this gateway to the Pacific Rim. Once you arrive in the town of Ucluelet, you are greeted by a community full of friendly people eager to assist you in any way possible. Hertel House was skillfully handcrafted with hand-hewn and recycled lumber by owner/artist/sculptor Tom Hertel.
The innovative architecture and one-of-a-kind artwork showcase the pride and dedication put into this home by Tom. This is also evident given the special recognition this unique house has earned within a community renowned for its original style.
The Hertel House, designed and built by master-craftsman Tom Hertel, is nestled between old-growth cedars, Sitka-spruce and a private beach. The Wild Pacific Trail and town are a leisure stroll away, making our Beach House a central yet hidden gem.
